Appearing to be around the same age as Chizuru. He tends to be picked on by fellow members of the Shinsengumi, because of his small size. It's said that he was good friends with Harada and Shinpachi because the three of them often went out together. Long story short, a conflict led him to leave the Shinsengumi and join the Imperial Tomb Guard under Itou's leadership. Heisuke ultimately decided to return to the Shinsengumi after dying from an enemy attack, forcing him to drink the Water of Life, which ultimately awakens his vampire instincts. After a long battle, his life ended on the battlefield due to his lifespan and the use of his vampire powers. He really thanked Hijikata for accepting him back into the Shinsengumi. Finally, his body slowly dissolved into ashes in Hijikata's grasp.
