He was originally assigned to Kuesu, trying to cover up any activity involving the demon slayers and the Ayakashi. He later appears to Yuto to bring news of a cannibalistic Ayakashi and to recruit him into his department. He also reminds Yuto that if the humans and the Ayakashi were to coexist, a king is need to maintain that order. He then makes a deal for Shuten-douji and Tama that they can proceed with their plan, but they can't harm any humans in the process, only for it to be broken by Shuten-douji injuring him.
