Ryouko Hanuki

She likes getting inebriated, at which point she drastically loses her sense of judgement and flirts with whoever is around. Aware of this, she is cautious about choosing who she goes drinking with. She is very good at speaking in English. She serves as a formal love interest for the protagonist in episodes 6-8. In her inebriated state, she ends up licking the faces of her drinking companions. However, according to Ozu, this isn't done as a form of affection or erotic desire, but rather a strange quirk she has. She was class mates with Jougasaki and Higuchi back in University even having a relationship with the latter although the feelings were not reciprocated after graduation. During the show, Hanuki feels scorned by Higuchi as he desires to travel without her. At the conclusion of the story - Higuchi does end up travelling with Hanuki.
