While Pricilla uses her armor to raise money for the orphans, Johanna takes on a more motherly role such as doing all the cooking and laundry. When Pricilla wins the armor tournament, she gives the prize money to Johanna to help re-open the ranch they use as an orphanage. Upon noticing Pricilla's feelings for Van, she tells Pricilla to take the hover-base they also won from the tournament, and chase after him (with the added support of all the orphans, much to Pricilla's embarrassment).
