Due to his impoverished upbringing he can easily be bribed or coaxed into situations with promises of food or something of value. Though appearing to be the modern equivalent of a rogue wanderer or jester; his comedy relief aspects aside, Gora maintains a hint of humanity that allows him to tag along with the main group... without (too) much complaint.
