They are classified as "biological CPU's" assigned to the new Earth Federation GAT model mobile suits. Shani, Orga and Clotho take a combat drug known as Gamma Glypheptin. This drug enhances their stamina as well as reaction time while in combat. The drug has a side effect that causes severe withdrawl symptoms in the nervous system. As the pilot of the GAT-X252 Forbidden Gundam, Shani is a great annoyance to both Kira Yamato and Athrun Zala during the final stages of the war.
