Even after defeating an opponent, he has a tendency to stretch the truth as shown in the anime where he lied about Wonrei begging for his life. Rodeaux is also shown to be verbally abusive to both allies and enemies alike, mainly toward Chita (his partner). Ever since Rodeaux met her, he has been constantly yelling at his bookkeeper, to get stronger. Despite this, he does care about her, giving her her mask to cover her injury, and getting angry when she became even more with drawn.
