He's diligent about his work as an officer, but he has no particular feelings towards justice in his private life. One day he meets, by chance, the hero of justice Samurai Flamenco. Ever since then, his days have been more chaotic... Gotou does not have many hobbies, but frequently texts his girlfriend, who he shares a long-distance relationship with. Though he was assigned to the Vigilante Counseling Unit while knowing the identities of Samurai Flamenco and Flamenco Girl, Gotou managed to keep their identities a secret (despite having reservations of whether or not he should arrest them). Gotou's girlfriend went missing when he was in high school. To cope with the loss, Gotou has an imaginary text message conversation with himself using two phones by imagining the replies his girlfriend would send him. He hides this fact from the people in his life, but the truth has affected his relationship with his family.
