He loves adventures and is a very impulsive person. Esteban has a fear of heights which is only strengthened by the people of his home town who believe him to be the "Child of the Sun" and hoist him high up to call out the sun. He joins the Spaniards in their search for one of The Seven Cities of Gold in the New World, hoping to find his father.
