Cassius Romero is one of the best known Brazilian voice actors among otakus, thanks to his remarkable work in Rurouni Kenshin, Saint Seiya, Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z and Evangelion. Voice acting was not his first choice of occupation however. Earlier, the actor worked eight years at Warner Music doing illustrations for record covers. Moreover, he used to work in the comic book industry and even came to publish some science fiction stories in the French Heavy Metal magazine. Today he gives life to several anime characters in anime with his voice. Among the most famous are Rou Kaioshin (Dragon Ball Z), Smoker (One Piece), Indra (Shurato), Bercouli Synthesis One (Sword Art Online: Alicization), Koji (Evangelion), Koyama (Mob Psycho 100), Urokodaki (Demon Slayer), among others.
