Niji no Kanata e! Shoujo Diana Monogatari

Anime starts off with look into behind-the-scenes process. The animation style is a classic cel animation. Story follows princess Diana from her birth. Interestingly Diana is referred to as a princess although in real-life she wasn´t a princess till she married prince Charles. Story Diana in her boarding school days and focuses on dealing with divorce of her parents. Diana is depicted as a well-behaved shy girl who loves animals and ballet. She has a strong connection to her mother. Diana is ashamed of her parents’ divorce and tries to navigate changes in her life, such as dealing with her stepmother Reine. What bothered me wherethe quick cuts the story makes, from the beginning we see Diana longing for her mother just for them to meet and spend time together for few seconds before the scene cuts to Diana meeting her step mother in her father´s house. The story idea is interesting and it would have been a good short series about young girl navigating changes in her life. I would recommend this anime for kids who also have parents going trough divorce because they would relate to Diana and see what kind of changes to expect in their own lives.
