Fairy Tail Movie 1: Houou no Miko - Hajimari no Asa

Here's a special episode about the movie side character to try and justify her existence in the world of Fairy Tail. She'll never be brought up again, so they only have the length of a single movie to try and get you emotionally invested in her narrative, unless they release an additional special revealing more of her daily life as an amnesiac. Honestly amnesia as a narrative device is just... don't do it. There are just so few situations where I think it's warranted and this certainly isn't one of them. I find myself less than indifferent to anything that's going on with this girl becausewe don't know anything about her and she apparently doesn't even know anything about herself either. Great, why should I care? It's just insane that anyone would think this is how you'd get an audience to connect with a character. Pretty boring, 6/10
