Urotsukiidoji, also known as "Legend of the Overfiend", is one of the most infamous examples of tentacle hentai known to man, second perhaps only to La Blue Girl in notoriety. The movie summarizes most of the original 5 OVA series in a single feature-length form, with the bits about Munihausen and the 'Evil King' showing up in the Legend of the Demon Womb, a 'sequel' film that actually happens in the middle of the first. The plot holds that there are three worlds, those of humans, man-beasts and demons. The human world is largely oblivious of its neighbors, the man-beasts are isolationistswaiting for a savior no one really believes in and the demons go around raping everyone and everything they can get their cocks into. Anyway, a 'God Above All Gods' called the Choujin (Overfiend) is supposed to come around to unite the three worlds, but his coming is somewhat less propitious than our hero, Amano Jyaku of the man-beasts, would have hoped. Most people who are hoping for a new world to be born conveniently forget the old one has to die first, and death by Godzilla-sized monster spewing laser beams from its cocks is rarely pleasant.
Overfiend may not be the best-written hentai in existence, but it does have an epic plot and some good fights thrown in among all the thrusting and screaming. If you get off on tentacle rape or just want to watch one of the legends of the genre doing its thing, Choujin et al is for you.

So this is a condensed movie version of the three episodes OVA version of Urotsukidoji Legend of the Overfiend was made as an edited movie cut version although it was based on the manga by Toshio Maeda who is known for La Blue Girl among other of his other works. Story It is about how the world has been split into three realms the human world the Demon world tentacle-based ones obviously and the Man-Beast world which they have been collided with the Chojin himself for his revival every 3,000 years, this follows Amano Jyaku who went to the human world to search for someone who mightbe the Overfiend at Myojin University along with the help of Kuroko and his sister Megumi for their quest to find the Chojin just to ensure the safe future of all of this for all of the three worlds when he may find his beliefs for what he had for this point just to put to the test when he has encountered numerous demons that have a plan to destroy the Chojin justbto prevent the three worlds from joining in perfect harmony.
Art
The animation and the artstyle is very unique and very drawn especially for the animation unlike any other ones especially for the animation and everything else and so forth with the overtone of animation like Devilman the Birth OVA or Call Me Tonight.
Characters
The characters they're is basically human characters specifically human characters such as Niki, Nagumo and Akemi as well as the Demon characters especially monsters in general.
Music
The music is very dark which of how it sets the tone especially for the horror scenes as well as other music which it sounds like it's playing from a Dario Argento movie of the 80s period as well as other music which is very 80s aesthetic of what to we hear for this as well as the battle scenes with synthesizers and guitars and everything else for this as well as an orchestral rousing music that sounds like something you hear from a Godzilla movie.
Production
The production of this movie is that this movie was written by Sho Aikawa who is known for Genocyber, Angel Cop, among others of his works that he worked on and he also worked on Violence Jack Evil Town but then again just to considered that this was a movie edited cut version of the original three episode Uncut OVA version it plays like a low core R rated movie which it follows the story unlike cheesey low budget horror movie from the late 80s and early 90s although which how it feels like a movie.
Thoughts
Despite that this movie has some violence and gore as well as explicit scenes not that many unlike the uncut OVA version however this movie edited version was released on VHS by Shochiku Fuji in Japan when it was shown in theaters in Japan, and this was shown on Channel 4's 100 greatest cartoons along with other films such as Disney's Alice in Wonderland and Ralph Bakshi's first film Fritz the Cat.
Sound
Although there's nothing new about is far as it goes depending on how the sound effects goes in every parts.
Enjoyment
Like most 80s horror movies or 80s horror anime Urotsukidoji is one of those movies which there's stories about which is basically is just what it is which is considered how Anime was really in the public eye during the VHS and the Laserdisc days.
Overall
The English dub of the movie was very terrible although the version is to find something is that there is the uncut subtitled version which is in the Urotsukidoji perfect collection release which is on VHS, Laserdisc and DVD which is out of print and expensive online these days.
