Bokura wa Minna Kawai-sou: Hajimete no

I've decided to write this review since I saw that no one else wrote one. If you've watched the first season of Bokura wa Minna Kawai-sou (or The Kawai Complex Guide to Manors and Hostel Behavior), then this special episode, "Hajimete no", is a delightful bonus that you shouldn't skip. Tonally, the special stays true to the original series. The quirky humor, lighthearted atmosphere and everything that made the main show so enjoyable, is still present in this special. But what truly makes this special "special" (hehe, see what I did there), is how it subtly deepens the romance between Usa and Kawai. While, like the main season,it didn't go full force into romance, it definitely gave us a spark of what is to come in the future for these two. In short, if you enjoyed the main series, this special is sort of a must-watch. It may not be a full continuation, but it delivers just enough warmth, humor, and heart to satisfy us.
