Apulo (a cat-like space alien with the ability to lock a human's emotions) and Latell work for the Division of Space Piracy (or DSP for short). The two of them are extremely destructive in their solving of DSP cases. They are attempting to stop Youmei the space pirate from exploiting Computer Aided Thinking for his own nefarious plans.

Teki wa Kaizoku: Neko-tachi no Kyouen is a delightfully good-natured and fun series that doesn't take itself too seriously. With its endearing characters and humorous dialogue, the series captures the hearts of viewers, creating an immersive and entertaining experience. There is a semblance of a plot, but it mostly just exists to smoothly move characters from one place to another. The animation and art style are truly top-notch, exhibiting a timeless appeal. While there are some occasional slow moments towards the middle of the series, overall, it is rather well-paced and engaging. Although Teki wa Kaizoku: Neko-tachi no Kyouen may not garner any awards, itremains a fine series that is undeniably enjoyable to watch.
