This short experiments with the flow of oil ink over the surface of the water. Mizue manipulated the ink by blowing with straws or stirring with toothpicks and used stop motion animation techniques to shoot the resulting effects.

Just as written on the label. It's short, the music is weirdly ominous, but goes with the visuals, which is practically a blend of colors. There is no entertainment value to it. It's pretty much an art piece. Watching it or not, makes no difference. In a way it's a anime equivalent of media presentation of a psychedelic trip. To it's credit it's much better than what some modern day artists dare call art. In particular, "Dadaists" and "modernists" Watch if you want to look at an art piece or here some strange music. There is no narrative, therefore the story telling elements ofanime matter nothing at all. The colors are the character. The canvas is the setting. There is no plot.
