Re:ゼロから始める休憩時間〈ブレイクタイム〉
Subaru Natsuki's sudden arrival in another world brought nothing short of tension and despair—but that does not mean there is no time for a break! The Kingdom of Lugunica is home to an array of interesting tales and lively characters, all waiting to be discovered. As Subaru explores this fantasy world, he learns that it may not be so different from his own. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

Yes, character and voice actor deserves a break, in other words, just for fun, but also feels like trying to add something beneath the middle of the episodes. For example, how Subaru confuse as Apple in real world (Ringo) and Fantasy World, Appas (Ringa), Beatrice hate Subaru calling her Loli, and just small random stuff in the whole episodes. Other than that, is just for your pleasure 3 minute break time after done doing voice acting the main series. Indeed its funny but not from what we expected from short video. 6/10========================================== (Subaru is a car) Pros + Break time + Still the same voice actor + Trying to blend main episodes for extra info. Cons + Just for fun anime, nothing more. ========================================== ( Sorry but how to review a short one with a short video? :( )

I’ll keep my review brief. Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Break Time Is a series of 2 minute shorts taking place in between episodes from season 1. While they aren’t canon, it is filled with little interactions between characters that aren’t meant to just fill the plot. That is either a positive or a negative, depending on how you look at it. However, the 2 minute episodes are perfect for these. Each one is a different interaction between 2-4 different characters. Overall, I enjoyed this anime, and I recommend it to Re:zero fans who want more character development, or just want to see Ram insult Subaru halfa dozen times.

I was praying this show was not gonna have these half-baked picture dramas to fill in content, I mean, I was gonna burn through them anyway bur come on. Turned out, for the first time, I had fun. Very easy to run through, episodes are a minute long, the jokes aren't half bad, not hilarious, but passable. The art is cheap, but compared to the norm, it feels alive. The dialogue seems to cover the first 11 or 12 episodes from the show, so no spoilers for the ending in sight, that's good, make sure you've at least already seen up until half of the show.

Okay, here we go for the twenty-eighth time: Characters: -Main characters: Seeing them go through these silly situations is endearing, and I find their chibi designs cute. (5/7) -Secondary characters: Ram and Rem are the highlights here. (2/3) Logic: I'm usually tolerant of comedy, but some of these shorts responded to plot holes in the main series. Still, I find it incredible that several of these comedy shorts happen in the main series in high-tension situations. (9/10) Entertainment (Personal):Explaining the logic of their world, silly jokes, cute scenes... I find all of that decently funny. (7/10) The basics in an anime: -Animation: I'm being unfair in criticizing shorts, but even though I find the characters cute in their chibi version, I still prefer the character design and animation of the main series, as I find it more captivating. (1/2) -Music: There are only sound effects. (0/2) -Addictiveness: These are non-canon scenes that, in my opinion, are only worth watching once. (0/2) -Tag fulfillment: Silly, dumb comedy that only makes a fool like me smile. (1/2) -Ending: The truth is that I don't think this ending counts as an ending, which is why I wonder why it didn't cover all 25 episodes of the first season. (0/2) Plot development (or initial premise): Despite the scenes not being canonical, I enjoyed what I saw as a fan of this franchise. (4/10) Personal reflection (clearly personal): Always keep your promises. (1/10) Comments: It's all very cute and silly, but honestly, I'd rather watch one episode of the main storyline than 11 shorts with scenes that aren't part of the canon. Final score: 7.0. (Note: Since I am very tolerant of anime, my minimum score for all of them is currently 4.) Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

It's a cute little series of two-minute shorts to give you a little extra relationship development between the main cast. The art is cute, with minimal animation. It covers mini interactions that involve events from the first half of season one of the main series. It's not anything groundbreaking or amazing, and doesn't add anything extra to the story. But that isn't really the point. Could easily be skipped, it just adds a little flavor to the character dynamics behind the scenes. However, it's not anything grand enough to make you change your view of the characters. It just lightly reinforces the relationship dynamics alreadypresent in the show. 6/10, cute little series. Real hit-or-miss on if it was worth it, though.
