キレパパ。
Chisato Takatsukasa, a 35-year-old author, has such a youthful appearance that anyone would think him to be in his early twenties. His work is inspired by his idol—the best-selling mystery author Saki Shunka, who is as much of an enigma herself as the plots of the books she writes. Chisato is also the extremely overprotective father of 15-year old Riju, convinced that the "friends" his son constantly brings over are nothing but predators waiting for the perfect opportunity to defile his precious boy. As a result, Chisato will stop at nothing to ensure they never come over again, resorting to the most extreme of methods. There is not a man he hates more, however, than Riju's rather persistent best friend Shunsuke Sakaki, who just won't go away regardless of what Chisato tries to do. But the motivations of these characters lie as secrets bubbling just below the surface. Why is Chisato so wary of Riju's friends, and what exactly does Shunsuke know about the mysterious author his friend's father idolizes? [Written by MAL Rewrite]

Although this has the overused storyline of one character secretly in love with another, and plenty of the typical misunderstandings, confusion, denials, secret obsessions, etc, it has light humour as well, good artwork and sounds. So overall I would rate it average to good. If you are looking for a lightish yaoi story with some kissing, petting and the final (but discreet) boom-bang, then this would be good for you. I enjoyed watching it although the secret love/confession was getting to be too much, it didn't last long enough to be truly bothered by it. Nice, but I wouldn't bother to watch it twice.

It barely passed. The story seems to be something quite overused in many yaoi anime (or even normal guygirl romace. Or even Yuri.): "OMG I'm in love with this person but I've never seen him but owh my gawd he was just under my nose all this time!!!" I mean it's like, "Give me a freaking break. Another one?" And then you'd just walk away and roll your eyes. And even the conflicts are way too commonplace- "oh my gosh i can't accept you because you're my son's bestfriend" and the whole "my-family-won't-accept-you-so-do-I-break-up-with-you-or-not" kind of thing. Absolutely nothing can catch your eye, and all ideas areoverused. Even sex scenes aren't all that hot. Even the sex scenes in Haru wo Daiteita OVA are better. Even the characters are not that great. We have the typical (and by typical I MEAN typical) uke who's beautiful and cute and wimpy and short-tempered but can't resist the seme, and a seme who's serious, TDH (tall, dark and handsome), and quiet. I mean, I can mention a pair off the top of my head who's like this: Kazahaya and Rikuo from Gohou Drug. Owh wait, there's Tsuzuki and Muraki too from Yami no Matsuei. Basically, it's just something you pull off the shelf of mediocre cliches. If you're looking for something fresh- skip this and look for something else. Like Haru wo Daiteita. One thing I can commend though is the art. I haven't seen such elegant art in a long time. Although really~ it's kind of unrealistic. I mean, the grandfather looks like he freaking took a bath at the fountain of youth AND drank the water. I mean, it's just unrealistic. And the eyes are kind of weird- but if I guess you're looking for fresh anime eye art, you can look at this one for reference. Overall, the anime is something not worth wasting your time on. Although, if you don't too much mind the lack of plot (or the mediocrity of plot anyway) or the lack of hot sex scenes, then watch this just for pure entertainment. Like I dunno, when you have nothing else better to do with your life because you've seen every yaoi anime out there. And really, don't even bother watching this when you DO have time to waste. If you DO have time to waste, go watch the Haru wo Daiteita OVA or something. It's not good either, but at least it's better than this one. Anything is better than this one. So pass this and go for something else instead. Owh and by the way, if you were expecting incest because of the title (Like maybe you read Papa to Kiss in the Dark and want something of the same nature), well sorry to burst your bubble but it ain't incest. It's shota, but not incest. (Kirepapa means beautiful papa or something, apparently a combination of the words kirei= pretty and papa= father. I dunno, I'm going from memory here).

To summarise it one word : Hilariously brilliant. Oh wait, that's two. The story may not sound compelling to you at first : A beautiful father is highly posessive over his equally cute son. Nearly everyone is gay here, even the father.. (Which makes me wonder how he became a father in the first place..) Well no matter how cliche or overused it may sound, the main focus of the show isn't the plot, and if there WAS a plot, there's no way it would have been able to develop within these 2 short episodes, which is partly the reason why I wish there were more episodes. Theart is fantastic, well everyone looks overly young, but I guess that's visually pleasing, though unrealistic. It still deserves a 10 though. It has a very -how should i call it- smooth feel. The colouring and shading is fairly natural too. The seiyuus did a good job in their roles. There wasn't any OP theme though, but the background music during the show fitted the mood and wasn't ear-jerkingly awful, fulfilling its role. The only reason why I didn't give it a 10 was because I felt that Riju's voice was slightly.. annoying.. I mean sure, it sort of suits him as the young boy he supposedly is but still. The characters were fairly developed for a show with 2 episodes, and that's saying a lot. Some background information about the characters are revealed. Though not really elaborated on, it plays a role in the show. Enjoyment? 10, of course! The light-hearted mood really made my day, somehow. Along with the jokes, and everything else. I don't know why, but I couldn't stop laughing throughout the whole thing, whether out of pure enjoyment or something else, but it was really something. The comedic aspect of the show, that is. Overall, it was really worthwhile watching this, but if you're not into Boy x Boy relationships, avoid this at all costs. Bear in mind that this has very partial nudity as well, so if you're looking for shounen-ai, this is not it. However, it's still something along those lines, so there's no harm in trying it right?

Its my first time doing a review be kind lol There was a bit to much sex but other then that the story was cute... It really focused on the trials an everday cuple might go through.... Even though there is only 2 eps the characters grew within those eps... It covered the same as a full tv series would with out all the extra crap..... So if you dont mind a graphic yoai story then I recomend that you watch this.... it really is one of the better ones

This is your typical BL. Seme x Uke style. Muscular (kinda) guy likes cute guy. Cute guy rejects muscular guy. Cute guy has a best friend who also likes him. Two guys compete over one. Obviously the main character wins, takes the cute guy and they make love. The end. (Seriously, it's like that. Well, almost.) Anyways, I loved the animation. I found it very gratifying, and the sound was more or less. The plot was kind of cliche and really predictable, but I can't help loving it. I recommend it for anyone who's looking for a funny but interesting ova. Fellow fudanshi out.
