Titipo Titipo

This is for all intents and purposes, South Korea's answer to Thomas and Friends, albeit in a more modern setting. Cute little Trains spend their days running services, helping out fellow Trains who have run into trouble and making friends with their fellow Trains, and passengers along the way. The Trains also like to prove their worth and effectiveness to their overseer (or their own Sir Topham Hatt, if you will) as well as to their fellow Trains. Story: No real plot exactly, just Trains doing things any real Train would do... except talk. 6 Art: It's all CGI, the people like fine, butthe Trains themselves look rather blocky and undefined. The world itself is nice and colorful. 6 Sound: Soft and cheery music interwoven between Train/Railroad sound effects, it's fine. 5 Characters: Titipo: Likes to prove himself and make his passengers smile. Diesel: Likes to show his strength by pulling as many freight cars as he can. Genie: Likes to make friends and spend time in the countryside when her services are over. XingXing: Is the fastest Train, which makes her a little embarrassed. Fix & Lift: Aid Trains that have gone off the rails (pun fully intended.) overall a nice batch of characters with their own distinctive personalities and traits. 7 Enjoyment: I grew up watching TTTE so this was a nice trip down memory lane (kinda) but Titipo does have some nice ideas of it's own, and while it is clearly aimed at a younger audience, i found it perfectly watchable and enjoyable. 7 Overall: Would this anime appeal to everyone? Perhaps not, but if your looking for a starter Anime for a younger Anime fan, this would be ideal (especially if they like Trains) but if your looking for a short in length Anime that is easy to watch i would also recommend this. 8
