I will type a review on the whole anime, not only the last season. Story - 8/10 - The anime is really good and I liked the whole principle. Each of the main characters got their "ending" which was more than less satisfying. The whole plot ends and we can say it is at the end and "everything happened as it should". It is really a good anime and the kind of story that is continuing was good. Fighting anime, drama, comedy and romance at the same time? Why not. Art - 9/10 - The art is really nice, fighting scenes are good. I dunno why peopleare hating it. Sound - 9/10 - Very nice and pleasant. Nothing to say. Character - 10/10 - Each character has a very good personality and owns a complex background story. So I'm absolutely fine about them. Enjoyment - 9/10 - The ending ruined it a bit for me, but everything else was really good and it was nice. I don't like fighting animes tho seems like this one is an exception.

I expected nothing and I am still let down. This truly is dreadful show. My expectations never were high since Seven Deadly Sins is truly a super mediocre show. But oh man it was far worse than I expected. White fucking blood? Ah, yes finally the enemies cum after being killed. Of course the censoring is also horrible. Well, they did eventually stop using white blood somewhere around the middle of the show. The animation sometimes feels like watching a PowerPoint slideshow. It feels like their budget is super low. They are not even trying to animate it properly. Why in the hell would they hire such incompetentpeople for this. The director and series compositioner is also bad at their job. Finally a show that rivals Fairy Tail. Starting off with the story: It continues straight from the last season with mostly filler hooray I know. Then in the second episode the story actually starts, King and Diane and strolling around the fairy forest and meets Drole and Gloxinia who train them by sending them back to the past that takes place about few hundred years in the past duh. They must get stronger and escape said simulation by doing something they originally did not do. Well, finally in the 7th episode the Sins are back together and ready to take on they demon king. We then follow Gowther on how he lost his memories or something and in the end he get emotions, quite shocking I know. As the sins are back far stronger they go and attack Zeldris and the other wanks. And now we are met with the most horrible animation the world has to offer. I had read the manga and I said "Oh Meliodas vs Escanor is a good fight, I hope they do justice for it in anime" they did not. It was horrifying. They couldn't make still images look good. Then Elizabeth is going through a phase where she remembers everything and is soon to die. So now it is a race against time, they need to defeat the demon king so the curse on Elizabeth will be lifted. Characters are the same as last season but we got to know more about Elizabeths past, Meliodas, Gloxinia, Drole, Gowther and even Oslow. None of them have changed since season 2. Then we get few new characters who are Zeldris' companions or something. One of them is Meliodases teacher and one is just forgettable. Also few arc angels arrive onto the scene. Of course Meliodas is stuck in his assault form which just looks stupid mostly because the animators can't draw for shit. The soundtrack is still pretty lit so I gotta give them that. There is that one theme that comes in every good fight. But if anything at least they got a good composer for the music department. Then the openings. The first one is just horrible. The song "Frontier" was kinda bad. The music wasn't the greatest and the clips were not good at all. I can't remember anything cool happening in that opening. Maybe the T-posing. And then the second opening. This one is actually good. The song "Delete" is a very catchy and a great song, Thank You SID. The animation in it looks good. The visuals are actually cool looking. There was Escanors The One and lots of cool fights. Again, the animation is beyond horrible. It looks like it was done in paint or then photoshop or powerpoint. They just kinda fly around looking like absolute dog shit. I have not enjoyed this show and probably never will. Only thing I have gotten is laughs mostly because of the shit animation. Would I ever recommend this? Hell nah son. You should honestly just skip Seven Deadly Sins fully. Or if you want then read the manga.

Writing this review just because the rating of this anime has surprised me a lot. Most of the people rated it very low from the very start just because of the animation. Animation of course is important but it is not everything as long as I can make out whats happening and it is clear I am okay with it. Additonally, the animation wasn't even that bad it slowly got better although the while blood was retarded.Rating an anime solely on animation is very stupid.Lets get into my honest review now. Story 10:The plot of Nanatsu No Taizi is easily a 10 without even thinking about itthe way the writer reveals and creates new mysteries at the same time is insane. He also connects all the plot points perfectly this season.Everything makes sense and you get surprised , and shook from the secrets revealed. Art 6:As I said was okay still not berserk level.Had some cgi but for the most part it wasn't that bad specially after the beginning. Sound 8:Now the soundtracks in Nanatsu No Taizi are always amazing from emotional ones , to the exciting fight osts. They are used frequently throughout this season with new ones created for important moments. Character 9:Character in Nanatsu No Taizi is a very strong point each character is built and progresses very nicely power and character wise. Each representing a sin carries out their role perfectly in the story. Enjoyment 9:Enjoyed this season a lot even though I had read the manga I was wishing that I didn't read the manga so I could experience it truly. Overall : Easily an 8 with good art I would've made it a 9 it will still never reach the 10 mark because an anime has to be truly perfect to get a 10.The ending of this season was not it ending in the middle of an Arc is just not smart to do.There were better endings the last episode felt like a normal episode and not a finale. If you wont finish the arc dont start it or atleast put a better ending.

It’s been a pattern for several years now. Nanatsu no Taizai goes on a break, and then comes back to adapt parts of the manga for the plot. By plot, I do mean the continued storyline about the Seven Deadly Sins and their conflicts against the demons, Commandments, and in this season, even Meliodas himself. This season adds the additional Goddess side while making its storytelling even more complex. But...complex doesn't equate to quality because Nanatsu no Taizai dropped the ball, hard. If you’ve seen the previous seasons before, chances are that you remember a darker change to Meliodas’ character personality. The fact is that heis turning back more and more into his original demon self. Estarossa gave us a very brief narrative about how Meliodas was once a ruthless ruler that he even envied. In this season, you will see the truth of Estarossa’s words as Meliodas once again revert to his true demon visage. That is, Meliodas becomes an anti-villain, a type of character at odds against the protagonists but is fighting for the “good”. And that reason lies in Elizabeth. Elizabeth becomes a character to feel empathy feel after you realize her complex past. Her connection to the goddess is imperative for the overall storytelling. The motivation of this season relies on Meliodas’ personal quest to end a curse between him and Elizabeth. That being said, watching this season felt nothing less than a chore. With a year long gap and 24 episodes, you’d think the studio and staff had enough time to give us what the fans wanted. In respect to the storytelling, it stays faithful to the manga. But on the technical quality, it’s a different story. The action choreography feels static and gets less and less consistent with each passing episode. It loses dramatic value with the low quality and furthermore, almost every fight feels more or less the same. Nanatsu no Taizai isn’t known for being unique for a battle shounen and the fights this season didn’t step up to the plate. No, it's dramatic disaster. On the characters front, we still have the familiar Seven Deadly Sins, the group of otherworldly entities renowned for changing the course of history. In this season, our characters develop their skills to stand strong enough against the Commandments and in hope of making a better world in this timeline. Besides that, I do believe the producers were aiming at the background storytelling for the purpose of getting us attached to the main cast. Characters such as Elizabeth, Meliodas, Gowther, are among a few of these examples. Interestingly, other important characters such as the archangels and elite demons get their moments of fame. Hold your horses though. Those characters are still overshadowed by the Seven Deadly Sins and most importantly, the duo pair of Elizabeth and Meliodas. It’s a shame since the series puts an overemphasis on their relationship, so much that it overshadows almost anything else. There are other breakout character pairs such as Monspeet and Derieri but their time on screen is limited. It’s the same as the manga where the show is dead on intent to push the relationship between Elizabeth and Meliodas to the limit. If you don’t seeing them together often, then buckle up because it’s going to be a long ride. Still, I do somewhat commend the faithful adaptation of this season. While the plot felt over extended, it follows near panel by panel for the most important chapters. Plus, it definitely became clear the producers wanted to adapt the full manga and set up for another season. (now confirmed to air in October 2020 this year) Is that good news or bad news? It’s sort of both. If you’re a longtime fan of this franchise, then it will be a delight because Nanatsu no Taizai is the gift that keeps on giving. On the other hand, it’s bad news if you’ve been trying to complete this anime franchise after so many episodes. Sure, it isn’t a long running battle shounen like Naruto or Bleach, but at the end of the day, Nanatsu no Taziai ran too long of a course for its own good. And I am talking about both the anime and manga. The bottom line is that after multiple series of adaptations, this new season didn’t truly became the next big thing. And in fact, I’ve rarely heard of anyone celebrating the announcement of new Nanatsu no Taizai anime in recent years. It’s not something reborn from the ashes like the recent Bleach announcement either. Nanatsu no Taizai has been flowing around the radar all this time and every year, it just gets worse and worse.

Nanatsu no Taizai: Kamigami no Gekirin For a long time, I was afraid of this, I knew what was coming and that very knowledge only made my burden more difficult. A bad anime can be improved by magnificent animation. Fast pacing can always balance the flow of scenes, dynamic animation in harmony with the music, help distract the viewer from flaws and entertain elsewhere. But when an average anime is given deadly pacing and disastrous animation, it's no longer fun. And at the same time, this season has been animated better than the final season. Therefore, for those who have already had traumatic experiences here, stop.Finish reading the manga and don't watch the last season. What the studio did here is beyond comprehension. I have a feeling they merely produced this as a bad joke. A good example is that the blood constantly became "milk" or other such "FSK 18" substances. And then again in other scenes, there was a lot of blood. Blood censorship can be seen in just 50% of the scenes. Was this produced by 2 independent groups that have not consulted each other? Or was too much blood too difficult to censor? Why does demon blood turn white? Why does a giant vomit up 2 buckets of questionable white substances? And why is another demon lying in a perfectly normal pool of blood in the next scene? There are so many questions and so few answers. So much said, I still have to say that the plot and character relationships are nevertheless decent enough to somehow make it through this season. Nanatsu No Taizai is still a simply average shounen. This season just suffers from studio problems, otherwise, it would have reached about the same quality standards as the previous ones. Unfortunately, the pacing here is very poor and the animations almost reach fanmade levels. By "almost" I mean that these reach a peak in the upcoming season. [Story 5] Here the rest of the plot is finally revealed, including Gowther's character background. And all of that is fine, it's nothing shockingly great, but that's what the series needed to prove itself. The backstory of the holy war, the connection between Meliodas and Elizabeth. Which, again, is a relatively interesting relationship whose problem became a good core point of a story. This approach is good, I just wish the whole thing had been implemented by a better writer and studio. In the upcoming season, there is only minimal resolution, and only a few background stories of the antagonists are still open. [Characters 5] There is nothing new to say, the characters are the same as in the previous season, only that Meliodas slowly puts on more serious traits, which of course makes him more comprehensible. The rest of the season is devoted more to the relationships of the various couples. I still find the opponents in Nanatsu no Taizai from the 10 Commandments relatively interesting. They have some wasted potential, but they are not blunt shells, which makes them seem more realistic. They are opponents, but only from the perspective of the protagonists. In their own right, they have their problems to deal with in this world and their burdens to bear. [Animations 3 / Music 6] I wouldn't say that the animations have hit rock bottom here, but they aren't far from it. There's no need to even mention why the series is also called "Seven Deadly Frames". The intro was... bad, really bad. The visuals just seemed like a cheap character catalog that was turned over. The music was okay. The osts suffer significantly this season, unfortunately, because of the slow pacing and their mediocre placement. Otherwise, the anime is only slightly worse musically. [Conclusion 3] It hurts my heart to give such a low rating to an average series, but unfortunately pacing and animation are simply important factors. And this season lacked both of those without end. Since this season was supposed to be 70% fights, it makes it all the more tragic. If it were just a story-based season with better pacing, then it wouldn't matter at all. Content-wise, I give the series a 5 out of 10 without a doubt, that's just what it is. But due to this massive drop in quality, there's nothing else that can be done. Too bad, among the average shounen, Nanatsu no Taizai was one I relatively enjoyed watching, which makes this hurt all the more. [Enjoyment 4]
