Gensoumaden Saiyuuki Movie: Requiem - Erabarezaru Mono e no Chinkonka Keep in mind that I do this review as only a user who found this movie out of curiosity and not as a big fan of saiyuki The film in general is good only that it does not stand out to say that it overcomes the adaptation since you are practically seeing the same thing but longer and with better animation. In this movie we meet one of the many villains who want to kill the protogonists, only this one in particular knows Sanzou and indirectly Gokuu, Hakkai and Gojou and in short the villain wants to belike them to have Sanzou's approval by adding the pattern of It would be serious when they add a girl (they know her, very little is known about her past and she ends up dying) In general the movie is good but the ending leaves a lot to say for the duration of the movie I expected something good or remarkable but it was not the case if you are new to this anime (like me) this movie may be to your liking and I recommend it if you have nothing to do

•the story is unique it involves them having clones, though idk much more cause I'm still watching it and I'm still on 30+ minutes, so I guess let's just see what'll happen as the story progresses and I enjoyed it cause I'm a Saiyuki fan though I have not read the manga and I like the genre and set-up and was kind of unpredictable •yes, the art-style and the animation got an upgrade from the Genzoumaiden Saiyuki and it fits the story for it being kinda dark and horror theme or as I view it •yes, the characters are well-rounded, each characters are unique with different personalities,flaws and strengths and they also have different intelligence HAHAHAHAH •yes, I say so Everyone will enjoy this series specially if your a Saiyuki fan and even if you're not cause the series isn't connected to the earlier series Genzoumaiden Saiyuki so even if you haven't watch that, it's okay to watch it cause you'll still understand the story though some characters from the earlier series aside from the main characters are in this too, like kougaiji, is that his name? (Correct me if I'm wrong) and his gang, they're the enemies of the sanzo gang, more like rival if I say so In summary, it's a great movie, the animation is an upgrade from Genzoumaiden Saiyuki, the story is great I highly recommend it specially to Saiyuki fans, but even new to the series or non-saiyuki watcher/fan can enjoy this movies cause it's not like connected to the main series, that's all I'm just gonna leave a short review 10/10 (btw a little fun fact is that gojyo's va is also sanji's va from one piece, *just saying it cause they're both my fav character, I know some of you might already know it or noticed it) 👏( 'ω' )👏( 'ω' )
