It's sad to see how the story divergerted. This ist just a bunch off fighting sceens without any love in it. If you watch season 1, the anime and the storyline was so promisefull. Than they have used those crappy ai translating subtitle without any controlling in season 2 and 3, which make to watch the anime painful. You aren't even capable to read the subtitle without pausing every few seconds. the subtitle are to fast, to long, mutiple times the same sentence. meta infos which has nothing to do with the actions and only confuesing. And to make it worse, the translation sometimesdoesn't make sense at all. So, i guess if you don't understand mandarin, you will have problems to follow the storyline properly. The long intro and outro with plenty of adds for softdink and chocolate, doesn't make it better. - at least you could see, what was for the producer most important, than making a good anime

Honestly while the animation was okay, and the voice acting on point as always, it feels like much of the story is being skipped to "push it along". Also the translations. Oh god let me talk about the subtitle translations that it's all been changed too. I think it's some major corporation with push that must have taken over, as the original source material has been re-edited to backdate to these translations. (Clerics are now Charge-clerics for example for some unknown reason.) The character names have been changed. One Autumn Leaf (Who's name resulted from SMC as a child mis-remembering a line ofpoetry that was supposed to be One Leaf in Autumn) is now called Ever-Stay (Which completely invalidates some character and world building later on.) Team Happy is now Demeter for .. reasons??? Excellent Era is .. Honest I forget the name that's how much the new ones piss me off, I am refusing to assimilate the terms. Lord Grim is now Stolord. These are changes that didn't need to be made, and honestly, from what I've heard elsewhere, piss off more than just me among their existing non-Chinese fanbase. Anyway back to the story. I think the studio has lost sight of the fact that for all this was an action-in-game anime, with out of game drama, it was actually a CHARACTER driven story. By brushing over a lot of the character moments and frustrations with interactions - and sometimes the background character tweaks this creates - they are doing themselves a serious disservice going forward. Non-Anime related for a moment here and back on the translations. I know of people who've gone back to re-read the original novel, and are all "WTF is this shite" when they see that they've back-dated the translation terms into the novel. And even the people doing the manwa online are struggling with it, I see the comic bouncing back and forth between old and new terms not only from chapter to chapter, but panel to panel. The cognitive dissonance is real.) Back on the production. The music was good. But over-all this felt very much like a season that was rushed through to make a deadline, which is counter to what people wanted. We're fine with waiting longer for seasons, if we get GOOD seasons. But as a continuation of the story of our much beloved characters, this was a hastily rushed mess, missing a lot of the foundations that would have made what they DID include make sense. Over-all I'm not angry. I'm just Dissapointed.

Animation/Visual: (8) The animation was great, and the fight scene was smooth, making the action feel dynamic and engaging. Characters: (6) The character development was lacking, as most of the characters were repeatedly reintroduced, making it difficult for their development to progress. Personal Enjoyment: (7) Despite the lack of character development and storytelling, it was still an entertaining anime. Sound/Score: (8) The voice acting was excellent, complemented by a great soundtrack that enhanced the experience Story: (6) The story is too fast-paced, and it feels like many important parts were skipped in order to rush through the anime Overall, Quanzhi Gaoshou 3 is a solid anime, though I feel itwould have been more engaging and entertaining with more in-game animated fight scenes. Despite its potential, the series ultimately feels somewhat disappointing, especially when compared to the live-action TV series, which boasts a well-paced narrative and impressive in-game animations

Oh, man. I never considered this title good because of the flaws in the story's premise and yet someone might've still watched it for the entertainment factor. Well, not anymore :))) So, for the previous season I just said the visuals got better, now I need to say that it is sht. I don't know what happened and I don't really care. The artstyle got a complete new look. Weird-looking 3D something. It looks like something from a sim game. They move that way too. Even physics don't wanna touch that. At some fancy party: A lady sits on a high bar chair, one of herlegs is at weird angle; someone uses a glass to demand attention, the liquid won't change its relative form and to spill even thought the glass is tilted to almost 45 degrees; the people have a weird tilted posture and while walking it looks unnatural. So the good news is that now the spells look more like something you'd find inside a game. The bad news is that no one would want to play such an ugly looking VRMMORPG. The game itself isn't one, but the production treated this anime like one since the 1st season. You know, their avatars having their faces, grimacing and stuff like that. And now, in a weird coincidence, the way their weapons move and their streaks of glinting light look more like something you'd find inside a mmorpg. But their "real world" looks sht. And then, because that wouldn't be enough, we also get some sht animation chibi-like. You know, those kind of silly faces... A good thing thought: the cinematography was kinda good, lots of interesting shots and angles. Although, lots of interesting shots of weird looking "art", so maybe thats not really a plus? :)) Moving on. the audio was meh. Some kind of an "sad piano" used every time it was supposed to be about a "emotion-loaded scene". Or that theme for the old friend. I won't even bother with the OP/ED. What else? The pacing was bad. Even though it showed us more stuff eSports-like so implying faster pacing, at the same time lots of time-jumps. Granted, those scenes were not needed, but still it felt weird. And then dead moments. Like I said, bad pacing all around. Character development was tried a little bit, but usually we got the normal 1-dimension troupe ones. And a couple of generic "evil-man". Oki, not evil, just bad. Or mischievous. So, to sum it up: it was really sht. Any redeemable quality it might've had while previous seasons (movies etc), got obliterated in this season. But it raises a good question now: without the visuals to help (because now it really didn't), is the story still interesting? I mean it never was for me, was lacking in a lot of aspects. It was something specific-tailored to ride the hype of eSports era, to hook the fans that melancholically believed in the "you're a gamer, try your luck, you might also become rich just like them". I know, I know, the themes are about second chances, never give up, keep pushing forward and sht, but its not working here. This story is dumb and sht constructed, so, no. I can understand the intention, but the author has no idea how to make it work and instead hoped the readers would read between the lines and do the job for him. Same for the anime. And seeing how many people liked this "thing", it worked. It gets a rating of 2. Watchable only by the hardcore fans, although I think they would be even more pissed by this season. Not recommended, no rewatch value, obviously. Have a lovely day.

As someone here since the first season, Quanzhi Gaoshou 3 is disappointing. The plot feels rushed with necessary details/ plot missing and yet other seemingly random scenes thrown in the mix that seem to just eat into time better used for character/ plot development. The fact that we never see Lord Grim use any gunner moves when they have been a staple throughout the series is a huge letdown, not to mention the absolute decline in animation from the previous 2 seasons. I still love the series and am so glad that we finally got a third season but it feels bittersweet when you lookback at the series as a whole and just feel let down. I love the series, if this Quanzhi Gaoshou 3 the only season out I wouldn't be so critical, but it's hard not to notice the decline with plot fluidity and animation when the other two seasons are spectacular. The character design is still wonderful and certain parts of the plot do really shine. It just feels bizarrely rushed and yet like it drags out in all the wrong places. Despite saying all this I do hope we get another season, that it is more coherent, and that the plot is back on solid gound.
