Kimi to Boku no Saigo no Senjou, Aruiwa Sekai ga Hajimaru Seisen Season II

This anime is a hidden GEM !! I've always liked Sazane's work .. anime like this and [ No body remembers me in this world] are gold .. the mixture of fantasy and survival , Apocalyptic or War is soo interesting to watch when it's written well . Not to mention the Tension and distrust among the royals was good too .. it always gave me Seraph of the End vibes .. This anime has good plot far gar better than the average fantasy animes out there .. and not mention the animation quality is soo good comparing to it's first season. The unique cameraangles and cuts , sounds tracks will catch your eyes in a good way ... So far I think it's better than season 1 .. but I'm not saying season 1 was bad either... It was decently average i would say . Definitely recommend it.. and I hope it gets a season 3 .. please 🙏🏻

Huh. I was expecting more reviews. No worries, I'm here now :D Very quick. Visuals. It depends on what version you're watching. The first episodes (was it 6?) had horrendous animation and designs, so they pressed STOP and started again. Not that the v2 is flaws free (too dark and other problems as such). The audio is ok. Some interesting ED (song and visuals), OP is meh. The VAs did ok. And now, the story itself. Well, it is bad. A lot of plot contrivances are in place to move the plot from point A to point B. For example: "oh no, we must return to thepalace immediately to protect the queen". Arrives at the palace, stops before entering, "to extinguish fires", arrives too late in the room. Lets the "evil guy" grab someone, "its ok, the door can't be open except if...". So ofc it will be opened. The "guy" leaves with said someone, "oh, no. how come?". Sees a car, "it must be them", follows them. Then, she has a breakdown "how did all this happen?". Geeee, I wonder... And there is more nonsense like this. I don't know the sauce, I don't care about the sauce. I'll assume it is mostly the same (because otherwise its a different show), so that means the author is dumb. Unfortunately I don't remember much details from the 1st season, so there might also be some plot holes. I won't be bothered to check it out. Wanna talk about character development? Sorry, 404. What the author feels about that is round-up to "see? everyone has layers". Fkin' cheap tricks..... You wanna talk about romance? You know, one of the main attraction points of the 1st season? Too bad. Maybe in the next one. In short, don't bother. If you already saw the 1st season, you could watch this, just to see where the story is going (assuming there will also be a 3rd season), but don't expect much. I'm giving it a 4 for the... I don't even know. For the designs, some good animation, some (very very rare) decent fight choreography, ED, maybe some cute moments (also very rare). No rewatch value. No, not even to refresh my memory when/if the 3rd season will air. Have a lovely evening.

We are back to the war between technology and magic, a war with no end on the horizon, between the Empire and Sovereignty. In this season of Our Last Crusade, we are picking up straight from where we left off, with Iska and his group being on their vacation, and Alice's sister asking for a favor. This then flows into the rest of the season, building upon the world we were introduced to. As for the plot of the season, we are going further into the politics and conflicts in the two nations, which starts to involve more people and require larger scale actions to be taken.Through the season we see different angles for a lot of the plotlines, this is done both to make us the viewer question peoples actions, but also to shed light on the more complex parts of the plot. It also gives a great feeling of the world as a whole, since it is not just the main characters acting, but all the influential people as well. Though sometimes it feels slightly rushed, with it having a limited time to deliver the necessary plot details, which sometimes make it feel slightly off. But even with that is the plot overall still rather nice and is a good continuation from the previous season. Character wise there is much focus still on the two main characters, Alice and Iska, with us getting to see their struggles and growth. Since we see both of them still having to face the struggles in front of them, both those long term and short term. This makes it clear that the characters evolve and have to work with who they really are. We also still see a fair amount of the side characters, with them having both larger and smaller roles, while still overall giving more life to the setting with their individuality. So the characters are very much like the previous season, with the old characters being much themselves, while still introducing new and promising characters. Production value of the show is also very much the same as the previous season. With some things being done rather nicely, which is mostly the combat scene and the rest seeming to be at an average level at least. The biggest issue production wise is the lack of time, the season could really have used more screen time, which could have given them room for a better pacing. Because the rush that could be felt at points in the show, made it rather clear that something was cut, an explanation to an action, more overall details or just letting a moment sink in, this was something that really seemed needed and is the main thing that holds the season back. Overall is it still a good season that continues the story that was told in the previous season. The only major issue seems to be that it could have been more with more time, but sadly wasn’t.
