The series is set in Zentrix City, a seemingly "perfect" city. Emperor Jarad is a scientist who with the help of scientists Dr. Roark and Dr. Coy, created a super-computer called OmnicronPsy, which manages all of the city's higher and day-to-day functions, controlling a wide variety of machines and robots, allowing humankind to live a seemingly "perfect" life. However OmnicronPsy, using His super-intelligence, decides that it would make a better ruler than Jarad, and starts to break down the coding that stops him from revolting and harming the Royal Family. Discovering this, Jarad and Dr. Roark head back in time 7 years to stop the revolt from ever happening. To accomplish this they plan to shut down the six Zentrium chips that power OmnicronPsy. Upon discovering this, Jarad's daughter and only heir, Princess Megan, proceeds to follow him to the past while OmnicronPsy concurrently undoes his restriction codes and sends his Robo Guards to hunt her down.

1ST Anime Review (for me as well), well here goes... something... I first Saw this Series when it was Broadcast (English Dubbed) on "Channel-5" (British Analogue TV Channel) in about 2003. At first i wasn't sure what to make of it, but by the end of Episode-1 i was intreiged and i went on to watch the complete Series over the subciquent Weeks, here's what i thought... The Storyline: is good and rather humourus, although it is aimed primarily towards a younger Audiance as becomes clear by Episode three, plus the Engish Dubb is decidedly ropey in places (to put it mildly). Animation: Very Good Indeed, even by currentstandards. and especially Impressive as this Anime is Chinese, not Japanese as most Anime are. Soundtrack: Although the Opening theme "Change the Future" fits this Series Perfectly it isn't what was used for Western Distribution. Instead a English Song called "Sunny Days" was used for both the Opening and Ending Themes, this for me spoiled the feel of the series and gave it a very childish and insubstantial appearance and feel to it, quite the Opposite to what "Change the Future" does (which i descovered online afterward). Characters: In this aspect the Series lacks in In Depth Detail for most of the Characters (with the Exeption of Megan and Quantum), however as most Anime aired on TV are edited for content & the ropey nature of the English Dubb i wouldn't say this is necessarily the case for the Versions shown in China / Japan and elsewhere. Enjoyment: Dispite the numerous flaws of the "English Version" of Zentrix i enjoyed the series very much, although in my view it could have been much longer and more detailed. Overall: This is a Great, Streightforward Anime, that if in Japanese (or original Chinese) with Subbs will Satisfy any newcomer to Anime, for more seasoned Anime Viewers it may come across as rather basic, but is none the less a well made & enjoyable Series well worth a watch.
