As you can see in the page, it's 2 episodes OVA, but in truth it's a on movie compiling it having like a more or less 1hr duration. The plot is literally like any OVA, so you can watch it without being preoccupied if you watch the whole series or not, though you need to at least know the main characters, Yun Yun and Wiz I will resume a like in just some words but not literally, the imagination is for you guys. The first is a "beach" episode and the second one is like the battle of two "protagonist's" group If you watched at least any ofthe konosuba you know that you're going to laugh a lot And then it's a spoiler but not a spoiler at the same time since it's just a notice that they give to us, and it's about Konosuba getting a new season!!! Btw, this movie makes me like Wiz more than the others now, if you know what I mean after watching it lol

"Kazuma! Kazuma!" "Hai, Kazuma Desu." I will never get tired of hearing this little phrase when watching this series. Kazuma's little deadpan asides when talking to people are consistently the best part of the show. That, and Aqua finding a way to always pulling defeat from the jaws of victory. Mini- Character Review Kazuma - Dead Inside lol Megumin - Cute, as alwaysAqua - Annoying as always, but in a good way Darkness - Does sexy Darkness things Watching these two OVAs just reminds me that we are a while away from the next season, but hopefully not as long as it was between the movie and Season 3. If Season 4 is a while away, hopefully they drop these enjoyable little nuggets for us along the way. If you love KonoSuba, these episodes fit right in with the comedy you'd expect. Episode 2 is the better of the two episodes - I do have a soft spot for Megumin though, and episode 1 give her more screen time, which is not a bad thing.

The 2 OVAs were entertaining. The second OVA definitely carried the first OVA. Need to breakdown the OVAs - OVA 1 - 7/10 It was funny with some fan service. Both parts equally average. A beach episode with high buildup and less delivery. The buildup wasn't as funny. OVA 2 - 9/10 This was a cracker episode with Kazuma being the best. It made the OVA series worth watching. Superb writing, animation and hilarious to the beat. The new characters are well introduced and built up by the end.Definitely watch the second OVA. Hilarious one episode OVA writing at its best. A great respite for all Konosuba fans waiting for next season.

It's time to kill the longing. It's being one year since KonoSuba last season premiered and although the continuation was confirmed, it will take another year, at least, before it premieres (the staff is busy with The Secrets of the Silent Witch). So while we wait, Kadokawa gave us two new OVA, this time based in novel short stories, to remember why we love this goofies. The first one is the emblematic beach episode. Yes, it is an ecchi episode, but following season 3 trend, it isn't an uncomfortable level ecchi (love, Fire Force). There is a very good excuse in the plot and the comedyis still in the limelight, but without disappointing the men of culture. The second episode plays with another emblematic trope: the doppelgangers. We actually meet a serious version of the Kazuma's party, so heroic that we actually wonder with the last are the actual impostors (or evil version, based in some of their actions through the episode). If you enjoyed Season 3, you will probably love this episodes too. The animation quality, voice acting, script and direction are at the same level as Season 3. It certainly went down my memory lane and I can't wait for the sequel project announced alongside these OVAs.

OVA1: The first episode can and probably should be skipped. Nothing of importance happens, it's not particularly funny, and the animation is some of the worst I have seen in a long time. This is essentially our obligatory beach episode, with the girls (and boys) all in swimsuits because a storm spirit is moving towards the town. the men of the town have convinced the women to wear bikinis in hope of some wardrobe malfunction. unfortunately, the animation is so bad that it becomes extremely distracting, and even the fanservice just falls completely flat. KonoSuba always had a very wonky, "blobby" artstyle that was never all thatflattering towards the characters, but here the proportions are truely all over the place. there are like one or two shots in this entire 22-minute episode that look half-decent. even Megumin's Explosion! looks absolutely pitiful compared to the regular episodes. and again, the humor just falls a bit flat. the comedic timing is off, and most of the jokes just boil down to the characters being who they are. there is a funny bit at the start with Megumin's attempt at making herself seem irreplacable completely backfires, but the joke is so drawn out that it loses all impact. overall, the first OVA of S3 feels like it was down by a C-team on the side. thankfully the story is unimportant enough to not warrant much more, but then why bother in the first place? wasted resources, 4/10. OVA2: Well, this is more like it. Basically just a regular KonoSuba episode. This one is absolutely worth watching. A group of adventurers turns up in Axel, looking for a Satou Kazuma. Not gonna say much more because that would ruin the fun, and as I have said, it is worth watching if you like the show. Production quality is also leaps and bounds above the previous OVA. it'S still KonoSuba, so it still has that wonky artstyle, but everything looks consistent, characters don't go crosseyed and proportions aren't completely ignored. there is even some nice shading and filters for good measure. the comedy is on point too. again, this is essentially a regular KonoSuba episode, just with no real plot relevance - not that it matters for KonoSuba anyway. all around just a good time. 8/10. Mathematically, that would come out to a 6, but I'll be gracious and stick with a 7/10 for both episodes combined. wasting 20 minutes for a subpar episode isn't the worst thing in the world, and the second episode really is good enough to warrant that bump up. perhaps each episode should get its own entry, but they don't so I'll have to compromise.
