Li'l Miss Vampire Can't Suck Right
ちゃんと吸えない吸血鬼ちゃん
In the city of Kashinokidai, where humans coexist with other beings, one individual stands out even among this diversity. Transfer student Luna Ishikawa, a vampire with a cool and mysterious aura, captivates her classmates and gains instant popularity. Tatsuta Ootori, an otherwise unremarkable boy, believes that Ishikawa is far beyond his reach. However, when the two are paired for cleaning duty, Ootori discovers that beneath Luna's composed exterior lies an ironic secret. She cannot properly suck blood, forcing her to eat snacks to hide her weakness—but no amount ever seems to satisfy her. Determined to help Luna master the very skill that defines her kind, Tatsuta offers himself as her practice partner. Through trial, error, and multiple bandages, their unassuming high school days take on a peculiar warmth—one where Luna no longer needs to act flawlessly and can simply be her natural, adorably awkward self. Li'l Miss Vampire Can't Suck Right — If vampires can naturally suck blood, how come this one suck not just blood, but also cute vibes and adorableness!? For better or for worse, there's always this thing called fiction, which has its other "derogatory" sibling of non-fiction, where stories are made up for the sake of it, but everything is part of its fantasy world and such. And sometimes, it's just better to feel like you're part of its world where fiction IS reality, and that despite the supernatural legends that tell us so, the non-fiction part, where the creatives come to play for a "what if"situation, can end up leaving you speechless or otherwise. This is certainly the case for mangaka Kyousuke Nishiki's lone series, Chanto Suenai Kyuuketsuki-chan a.k.a. Li'l Miss Vampire Can't Suck Right, which just wrapped up its serialization in August this year (of 2025), and it'll teach you not just a history where vampires have to "learn" how to suck blood, but a story of humanity as well. In school-based themes and settings, you have the most popular student, the mob of the background students, and the MC, which is always the average student with nothing noteworthy about him/her. This is exactly the premise that's set up for Luna Ishikawa, the unique transfer female student who's a vampire with a cool demeanour that naturally has the attention of her own class, against the average student that is Tatsuta Otori, who is, quite frankly, a mute and an introvert of all people. However, as with all things within a school for transfer students, getting Luna to learn of how their school intricately works is natural, though what's not is the two-student pairing, of which Otori finds himself paired with Luna for cleaning duty, and it exposes the truth that he's the first to know: the cool demeanour of a popular student is not the calm and collected girl he thinks she is, and worse still, she can't even suck blood even as a full-fledged vampire! Naturally, being the helpful student he is, Otori offers his arm for Luna's practice, for which it took quite a while for her to get acquainted with his blood, but it's progress that he's her only special partner when it comes to the vampiric aspect. Soon after, the mundane days in school begin to take a change for the better for not just Luna and Otori, but the others who would come to learn of the former's ineptness and help her achieve her goal of becoming a full-fledged vampire. An average student can learn to grow his own circle of friends if he speaks out in ways that other people will accept. But with Luna, Otori essentially is the envy of the class because she understood him better than anyone, not for the blood-sucking goal, but for the usual grumbles of "How come someone average like him (Otori) gets to be close with the class star?" And for a start, the class assumes its defences against Otori until two of the students stand out to know of their relationship as such: Eiko Sakuma and Misa Kusunoki. If anything, these two girls are the "Luna's (motherly) Mama Alliance." When it comes to them learning of the same qualities that Otori first found out about her and deciding to be a part of the vampire's life to experience things of the human world that she otherwise would not have, it's just wholesome and charming to see it as such. Even better is the class cheering on for Luna and Otori and keeping their interactions fresh, knowing that Luna belongs to not just Otori but the class (and the school) as a whole, which essentially puts her in a small celebrity status. This is quite the atmosphere I did not expect to see and is a fresh change of pace from the usual stares of jealousy that have plagued so many other series. And as we've come to learn of Luna's true identity later on, she's pretty much like Otori, who's rather reclusive and not wanting to experience the outside world (for reasons we'll never know), though it was Otori first reaching out to her that significantly changed both of their lives for the better. And that, to me, is humanity, even on a surface level that touches the hearts of kindred people. It's common nowadays that anime can be produced by the same studio that stretches more than just 1 project within the same season, and for studio Feel to come into the season with this show and Chitose-kun wa Ramune Bin no Naka a.k.a. Chitose. Is in the Ramune Bottle (which the latter show suffered a month-long production breakdown), the quality has significantly dropped once the spring-summer production of Summer Pockets had ended. And for a studio that prides itself in quality, the Fall 2025 season is just "Hell on Earth" to see it struggling to keep up producing 2 shows at the same time, and this is rare to see from such an acclaimed studio like Feel. Though in the case of this series, it just looks fine and is a watchable show in that regard. The music is really so-so, but the OST by Tomoya Kikuchi, who's done series like Summer 2021's Life Lessons with Uramichi-oniisan and (surprisingly) Fall 2022's Bocchi the Rock!, fares better than I would expect. The theme songs by girl band H△G (pronounced HAG), both the OP and ED (the latter featuring Luna's VA Minami Tanaka), are just your average Anisongs that serve the decent good, though they're forgettable. It's totally OK for fiction to be non-fiction at times, and for Chanto Suenai Kyuuketsuki-chan a.k.a. Li'l Miss Vampire Can't Suck Right, to be just that; it truly is an enjoyment to see a vampire be the "same same, but different" from who they are, and this series definitely benefits from that treatment. All is good for the world...with a lil' vampire's blood-sucking that's all charming and cute.

The heroine doesn't have to be vampire at all despite the title. The author just wanted to have a cute dum dum vampire character so the world is built to allow her to exist. The world has a lot of other creatures, we see a glimpse of a zombie/Frankenstein or whatever was it in episode one. BUT, guess what? None of that shit matters because you are stuck with main casts full of humans and very human-like vampire. The story would be so much better with more varied species having to somehow share a space in the classroom, but the writer is too dumb and hornyof little vampire bitches to even think such story can be more entertaining. They just decided to make her useless vampire without even a good backstory as of why she struggled with shyness and social anxiety. They just skipped all the reason and just went "Yep, she's socially anxious and trying to be better! Isn't that admirable? Isn't that relatable? Isn't that CUTE?" and just put a fucking generic kind protagonist with so little personality to the point we don't even see his mouth more than 5 times during the whole 12 episodes. The story is yes, cute, heartwarming, whatever it is, but it is a fucking cliche story you can replace the characters with any characters, heck just replace them all with horse girls, or just make Luna a fucking human and it won't be any fucking difference (she drinks protag's cum/juice or whatever the fuck instead of blood now). It's just a fucking lazy writing. I am so fucking salty and mad about this. If you like this shit then you should jack off to the little vampire of course, but if you don't like it then you're better than those jerkoffs. Just because it's cute and full of seishun moments doesn't mean it's any fucking good story. It's a cliche story with stupid unnecessary settings and characterizations. Cool initial idea and world building, but an average and fucking average execution.

It’s been a long time since I watched some “trash” anime this season. I mean, I did watch some good romance anime and old stuffs this year (including the Ms. Vampire who lives in my neighborhood which is since 2018). I gotta say that that “Yuri Vampire” (which I call short) was done better than this show in terms of plot surrounding the “Vampire” thingy. This show did explains some supernatural thingy but it didn’t go “deep” as Vampire Yuri did. But still, this show did excels in terms of comedy that is. In comparison, I think that old show like Yuri Vampire already done it’sthing better than this show of course. I still enjoys it as it is cuz it’s better than 2025 shows in terms of Slice of life (except HibiMeshi, always done my chicken cold while I watch them preparing foods, disappointing.). Would definitely recommend it for people that like something soft, cute, not focus on plot and not yuri. What a way to end this year that is.

This series isn't anything overly complicated, or drama filled. It's just a cute little SoL about a vampire who can't suck blood and gaining friends basically lol. It's suuuuuuuuuuper adorable though //>wpretty good though! Characters I also really enjoyed with this. They all felt that they were written decently and I don't see any major issues here. Animation is basic. It works for what it needs to do so, again no issue here either. (tho a funny tidbit imma leave here is that, Otori doesn't usually have a mouth drawn, so when he does, i'm like "OMG! HE HAS A MOUTH!" hehe. i'm not kidding, it's just so funny to me lol). But overall, a satisfactory little show. Nothing too out there but it was fun to watch. :D

Chanto Suenai Kyuuketsuki-chan (Li'l Miss Vampire Can't Suck Right). Fear not, "Li'l Miss Vampire," your anime does, in fact, suck. It starts off as a semi-interesting concept; I expected a funny show about a vampire learning to suck blood. What I got instead was a story about an insecure vampire girl turning into a baby to suck blood from her simp classmate, who dubbed himself her "mama." This anime is basically a show about glorified breastfeeding and is unwatchable in the moments when that is the main focus. This, as the title might tell you, is precisely what the show is about. Thus, for themost part, it is awful. Other times, it is just the normal school-setting anime we all know and love. If I haven't made the premise clear yet, the show follows Luna, a vampire who lacks the ability to suck blood correctly and recruits her classmate Ootori for training. Naturally, much of the show revolves around her learning to suck blood from his arm. What makes this unbearable, however, is that she literally turns into a chibi baby to do so. Let me repeat myself: a literal baby. Or at least she acts and looks like one, so there's not really a difference. This was fine the first three times but became obnoxious as the show went on. It got really repetitive and sometimes felt like I was trapped in an endless loop of chibi-vampire blood-sucking. I know a lot of people found it cute; I didn't. However, as the show reached its final four or five episodes, the focus slowly shifted from blood-sucking to a normal school-life anime, so it did become an okay watch by the end. Still, it didn't really make up for the pain it caused me before that. The early episodes are split into two short stories/chapters, making for a quick and easy watch, and the end, when things stopped being horrible, went by quite quickly. All in all, this is a story ruined by its main premise. Also, I almost forgot: it is supposed to be a comedy, which it fails at. The characters are also completely uninteresting. Luna is the only one with a hint of depth, in that she is actually insecure and seems to have thoughts. Ootori, the other lead, has not a single thought in his mind; his only defining trait is that he, for some reason, likes having his blood sucked by Luna. The other side characters, Sakuma and Kusunoki, are only there as auxiliary "mamas" alongside Ootori. There honestly isn't much more to say about the characters here. They are just plain cardboard cutouts. I'm not expecting perfectly written characters for a comedy anime, but they are so devoid of personality that they aren't even likable. The art, much like the story, has its moments. I actually really like the normal character designs, such as Luna's normal form, Sakuma, Shirayuri, and Misuzu. The backgrounds and the animation itself weren't bad either. It’s just that the characters who are the main focus are the literal only exceptions to this standard. It honestly feels taunting. Ootori, the character with the most screentime, has no mouth. His literal character design is just two eyes on a head. There's nothing interesting about his look, and while I get that's what they were going for, they could have at least made him bearable to look at. Then there's the annoying chibi. You've probably gotten a clear picture of what I think about that, so I'll move along. What did keep a high standard throughout the show, however, was the voice acting and the OST. The soundtrack was high-quality and helped boost the atmosphere of the few good scenes this anime had. I'll give it props for that. Sadly, a soundtrack alone can't save a sinking ship. I was also really happy with the voice acting. Luna's performance maintained a high standard throughout, as did Sakuma’s and Kusunoki’s. While I’m personally not a fan of Ootori's voice actor, he did do a good job of portraying the character. Now, if it isn't obvious already, I didn't like this show. It ended on an okay note, so I doubt it'll leave a sour taste, but as I said, that doesn't make up for how unwatchable it was at points. I think this is the type of show that you either love for being "cute and light-hearted" or absolutely despise. Having the lead turn into a baby all the time was extremely off-putting for me. Couple that with a lack of substance, and you have yourself a bad anime. In conclusion, Chanto Suenai Kyuuketsuki-chan is a bad show purely because of what makes it unique. I wouldn't watch this again, and I don't recommend it to anyone else. I doubt I'll remember it, and I don't plan on checking out the manga or an eventual sequel. The only reason I gave this a 4 rating is because of the OST and semi-good art. Otherwise, there is literally nothing in this for me.
