Let's be real: By now, every anime genre is saturated with clichés. Romance, action—you name it, it's tough to find true innovation. Hands Off: Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun isn't reinventing the wheel or poised to change the world, but it delivers a welcome twist: a harem that feels authentically human. Unlike typical setups where perfect waifus obsess over a hapless loser, the girls here—talented athletes at Seiwa High's sports dorm—are flawed and relatable. They can be selfish or prickly, yet kind and multifaceted, without going gaga for protagonist Kouyou Kotesashi. His "magic hands" for massages add a fun, fanservice-y layer, but it's the realistic dynamics that shine. The result? Ahighly entertaining romp as this oblivious guy dodges romantic pitfalls amid intense training and rivalries. If you're into harem shows, this anime won't disappoint—it's a solid, binge-worthy entry in the genre.

You need to watch this! The plot is amazing and it’s even better with one hand! The character design is fantastic and on top of that, you get to see all kinds of eye catching moments (you know, blossoms, jugs, milkers, whatever you want to call them). Even better, the main character is a chad who has turned off his horny receptors and is unaffected by women’s physical allure. (He might be gay?) So, you can enjoy the show without any distractions. Anyone who watches this anime will immediately put it at the top of their list, ranking it among the best of the yearalongside OPM Season 3 and Rent A Girlfriend. Do yourself a favor and drop whatever anime you’re currently watching to watch this instead.

Hands Off: Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun SOFTCORE FANSERVICE ! yep thats what I would say to describe the anime its beyond ecchi but a hint of nerdiness and borderline safe measures to keep the anime on " R+ catagory instead of Rx " well if you get to see a bunch of busty girls with mhm " ambition " and some exercise and stretching ain't it 2 birds with a stone ? You are getting the knolwedge of exercise with fanservicethat you drool for ! Jokes aside the anime is fine, the last ep left the spot for a sequel which would be " APPRICIATED " andif Crunchyroll is the platform the anime came in then sure a sequel isn't impossible afterall the manga is still going on as of the date the review is being written . So yeah, the anime is a fun watch tbh and a sequel would't be bad .

I'll start with something a bit off topic, I do find it interesting that the manga page of this series here has no recommendation, yet the anime is full with recommendations, as in, do the ones writing reviews on the manga a bit to hasty, or the ones who recommend the anime a bit to dirty-minded? Either way, back to the main topic, I must do a disclaimer first, firstly, I haven't seen the manga, but I must say I most likely would check it up if I have the chance, and that I have no knowledge at all about massaging techniques or theories, although Ido know about anatomy. With that out of the way, I'll start with, I put the spoiler warning off but this might be a bit of a spoiler that I believe isn't considered as a spoiler, the MC has no sexual drive, or rather, he "turns it off", as he did say in episode 12, meaning, to then say it's a harem anime, that it's just filled with erotical stuff isn't entirely true, or rather, it's also common for people who work or study things in health related things to have similar abilities. By this, I mean, those who sees this in the beginning and goes like, "it's some trashy erotic harem" just by seeing the early parts, I'd say, the problem is you, not the story. Next, despite the fact that I know nothing about massaging, I do find it interesting, as in, I end up wanting to rewatch it to remember again the theories used in the story, who knows those theories are true and may become useful someday. By that I mean, what else is the reason to even watch, or even recommend this anime? Minus side, let's be honest, it's basically similar to kekkon yubiwa monogatari, the artwork in the anime is basically like hentai: the ones who make it seems like people who never studied anatomy. if it's that series, I did read the manga, and the manga has a more realistic anatomy but the anime looks like it's made by a hentai studio with a limited budget. But this one, or the oversized elf anime some seasons ago, which basically is like this one, filled with knowledge (or at least it seems like that) but poorly executed. Anything else? Well, the story is pretty unoriginal, as in, I've seen stories with similar plots like hundreds of times, but again, I would question the mind of the person who complains about that in series like this, where the essence if the story itself is about the massaging techniques, not the plot. At the end, if it's me, I'd say, it is something recommended to watch, although some might have to suffer just to watch it, but bear with it. AND, importantly, the recommendations go to both men and women, especially episode 12, which, I believe, most women would want to try that.

Unlike the previous works that explore nature or lighthearted school life, Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun (Don’t Touch Me, Kotesashi-kun) enters the territory of romantic comedy with a focus on physiotherapy and physical touch, exploring a very specific niche: caring for the bodies of athletes. The story revolves around Kotesashi, a student who was a child prodigy masseur/physiotherapist in middle school, known for his "magic hands" that could cure any fatigue. However, due to a past trauma, he developed an extreme aversion to touching others or being touched himself. His life changes when he enters high school and meets elite female athletes (such as track and field stars) who aredesperate for his technical care. The plot focuses on Kotesashi's internal conflict: his desire to help athletes reach their maximum potential versus his dread of physical contact. 1. Anatomy and Health Knowledge Much like Futari Solo Camp is educational about camping, this work brings a lot of real information regarding: Sports Physiology: Stretching, pressure points, and how muscles react to exertion. Recovery: The importance of rest and preventative treatment for athletes. 2. Situational Comedy (Light Ecchi) The work walks a fine line between romantic comedy and fanservice. Since the focus is on massage and body treatment, situations often become embarrassing or visually suggestive, which is a common element in this specific genre of manga/anime. 3. Overcoming Trauma Beneath the surface of the comedy lies Kotesashi's emotional development. we follow his journey to overcome his psychological block, motivated by the gratitude and hard work of the athletes he treats. If you like...Will you like Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun? Rom-Com / HaremYes, it follows the classic structure of the genre. Sports Themes (Health focus)Yes, the focus on the "backstage" of sports is interesting. Protagonists with TraumasYes, the hero's growth is the engine of the story. Purely Platonic WorksMaybe not, as physical contact is the center of the plot. Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun is a work that blends "business with pleasure" for those who enjoy dynamic romantic comedies. While it uses fanservice as a tool, it delivers an interesting narrative about the weight of responsibility when caring for someone else's body and the vital importance of physiotherapy in sports.
