A decent Donghua. It's about a top level cultivator who has to perform just one more trial to become a god. His power was to be stripped and himself sent to the very bottom, the mortal realm. Except not all his powers were removed, he is still physically invincible. To maintain that power he has to eat, a lot. The story is entertaining enough. The main character just destroys anything in his path and collects allies and eats food, in the later parts of the season it gets more meaningful. It's got lot a of comedy and is mostly lighthearted, but it has it's share ofdrama hidden under the curtain of callousness. The main character himself is borderline emotionless, oblivious and has no social skills. He only really cares about his quest for ascension. The side characters, women, he collects are all fun in their own way, but only really serve to ground the story so the MC doesn't just instantly win everything. Animation is good, visual effects are great. Fight scenes are minimal and not really the main interest. Music and voice acting are fine. All in all I enjoyed it a lot. It start off comical and gets more and more serious until the end, which finishes with a cliffhanger, like always... Another unfinished Donghua.. yay. 7/10
