After the Playstation port of Resident Evil 4 hit the stores Capcom released a new 97 minute DVD some time later which intended to summarize the whole story of Resident Evil 4. It's played on English audio with Japanese subtitles. It also included a little book which explains the life on El Pueblo before and the arrival of Osmund Saddler. It also solved some plot holes like the whereabouts of the children. It contains many of the scenes original to Resident Evil 4. (Source: Resident Evil Wiki)

Not Recommended

Guys, just go and buy the Resident Evil 4 Game for PC, and other consoles as well rather than watching this 1 hour and 22 minutes of pre-rendered graphics, and summarized movie. Resident Evil 4: Incubate, or Biohazard 4: Incubate is, let me put it simply, a RESIDENT EVIL 4 CUTSCENES. Nothing more, nothing less... No remastered graphics, no extended cuts, NOTHING. If you want to watch this cutscenes, hell, you better play RE4 rather than watching this cut-scenes that has summarized for those who just like to skipped those cutscenes and said, "FUCK IT, I have a RE: Incubate... Why bother?" Also, all of this were reusedfor this movie, the graphics, the voice actors from the game, the enemies, etc.. So, don't expect something here...

Watching biohazard incubate is not a entirely pleasureable experience. A ova from the Ps2 release of Resident Evil 4 sounds promising but they really just put together a loosly strung together clip show. Being of a considerable length i was looking forward too seeing what must be a rather cinematic experice having previously watched biohazard degeneration. I was sorely dissapointed from what i came to discover. Aside from game cinematics its patched togehter with actual game footage which is choppy and rideged at best. No where near high standards of animations. Not all of it is ridged and choppy just what wasnt a prerendered cutscence. Italso does a lot of jump cuts without any explanation for the plot so you will be at Point A and then randomly at Point Q and be expected to know whats happening. You will also meet a very small cast with some great voice talents but not given much of a chance to do much else other than further the plot along minimally. I really wanted to love this ova i truly did but it was just not meant to be a real ova. Its just a choppily slapped together recap movie. I wasted time watching this as it didnt offer any entertainment value. Fans of the series might enjoy it but i think outsiders will instantly condem this Ova as wasted time.

Mixed Feelings

Rate a 6 English Dubbed Story -has some witty dialogue -introduction was informative through narration by main male character. -interesting concept used. Where some battle fights had some overlaying plot narration. Art -transitions are abrupt. Like different save points to a game. -graphics aren’t great.-computer generated art may be easier to produce but lacks realism for upon close contact there is glitch moments. Such as character actions seem to transfer through solid matter. Similar to a ghost. -unneeded black screen moments used as transitions. Character Had a decent amount of character background. Not for all characters though. Overall I am sure those who got the PlayStation game were grateful to have some more plot content but as a standalone this doesn’t make for a good movie. At least the ending was nice and left room for a follow up.

Mixed Feelings

I think the funniest part of this whole thing was that its literally the cut scenes of Resident Evil 4 With Some Ceiling Camera Pov shots I thought it was funny as hell that this is even on my anime list I have played this game more than 10 times beat every difficulty and unlocked all the rare stuff so I think its funny just to see it on MyAnmieList. Serious Time Now The quality is absolutely garbage I can count the pixels on screen, This whole thing is quite literally just the cut scenes of Re4 With bad quality and slight gameplay. Would I recommend this tooanyone? If this is your first introduction to anything Resident Evil Especially the masterpiece that is the Re4 Video Game......... No Id only watch it if you played re4 before for the free completion on your list, and to relieve Leon's silly quotes.

Not Recommended

This OVA is crap. It's just game play with added scenes. What's worse is the resolution is horrible even by 2006 standards, it looks out of focus constantly. The sound is not only terrible, it is also very low I had to turn my sound way up and still could barely make out what they were saying. I tried but I could only make it to the 40 minute mark. This is essentially unwatchable, I don't understand why this has a 9 rating on 9 anime and a 6 rating here. I have watched the other Biohazard videos and enjoyed them, I thought Imight like this too, but it just a DVD they included with the game.
