Precure All Stars Movie DX3: Mirai ni Todoke! Sekai wo Tsunagu☆Nijiiro no Hana

The movie's plot is that the girls are all separated from their mascots because of an enemy, Black Hole, which is some of the past seasons villains combined (such as Freezone and Freezin, Toymajin, Baron Salamander, etc.) Their goal is to attack the Prism Flower, which acts as a gateway for all the fairies to get to Earth. The girls are all split up: one of them sent into the sandy Land of Clocks I think from the Splash Star movie, another into a raging sea and a shipwreck, (I forget where) and the final group into...I think it was Toymajin's puzzle game from Fresh.It had some really funny and awesome moments, like the girls turning to the main character and being like "Ok, finish them!"...before realizing their protagonist isn't even there. 😂 I liked all of the characters and they were able to band together and fight each set of villains, as well as a sad moment where it looked like they'd have to say goodbye to their fairies forever. Sometimes making everyone cry like this is cheap, but I thought it worked very well here, considering the enemy is literally named Black Hole. The girls decide to all transform one last time and give up their Precure powers afterwards to beat Black Hole, but the Prism Flower is destroyed and turns into Miracle Lights which everyone on Earth gets. They give ALLLLL the Cures strength and they power up into white angelic forms and kick the crap out of Black Hole. Oh and the mascots are safe. Normally, I'm just iffy on these movies. This one though, was absolutely amazing. Everyone felt perfectly in character, and there were so many waves of different types of memories and nostalgia even that I lost track, to the point that even characters I disliked were well done. The movie also had a particular focus on Heartcatch, with Erika and Tsubomi getting the lion's share of plot-related moments and screentime. It gets an 8/10 as possibly one of the best All Stars movies to date!
