Funa Uozumi

Ever since Nanoka came to live with her grandfather eight year ago Uozumi has been there as well. The wide-eyed maid shows little in the way of emotion or personality but she is is vigilant when it comes to watching out for Nanoka's health, always ensuring that she serves the girl her green drink which is said to help with her chronic health issues. The truth behind Uozumi is much deeper. In truth she is a shikigami created by Mao and sent into the future to watch out for Nanoka in the moments after the child was attacked by Byoki. Uozumi was a small wooden fish with life breathed into it and tossed through the gate where she took this wall-eyed form. At first she disguised herself as a nurse at the hospital where Nanoka's grandfather was waiting and soon thereafter she used her powers to ingratiate herself into the family. Over the course of the years she has served as a protector to Nanoka without anyone ever realizing it. The green drink she served were to weaken Byoki's cursed blood which flowed in Nanoka's veins and would inevitably attract the attention of the cat demon. (Source: furinkan.com)
