Unlike those two, it is an evil sword that thrives on suffering and completely controls its wielder. The only way to break its control is to have the sword deal a deadly blow to someone the current wielder/possessed one loves. Mana wielded the sword before the series, and Katsumi is possessed by it in the later part of the series.
