Age: 10 Birth Place: Settsu Province Class: Year 1, Class Ha Committee: Library Committee An orphan who entered Ninjutsu Academy to become able to make a living as a ninja, he's been best friends with Rantarou and Shinbei ever since meeting them while enrolling. Since he lost his family to a war before the start of the series, he's been making a living working several part-time jobs. Entering the academy hasn't changed this, and he still works several jobs on the side and has earned the nickname "Genius Part-timer". He has a great head for business, an even greater love for money and is very proud to call himself an extreme skinflint. He can also make out the sound of dropped coins from great distances and will instantly take off in the direction of the sound whenever he hears it. Since entering the academy, he's been staying with Doi-sensei during school holidays.
