She is a Japanese born singer, model, brand owner and actress based in South Korea. She is currently a member of South Korean group, Say My Name. She is also an exclusive model for Titty&co. Hitomi Honda's stardom started when she was in elementary school, where she appeared on a local program in her home town, Kodomojikan. Hitomi Honda joined AKB48 Team 8 in 2014, at the age of 12. She was also a member of Korean-Japanese group IZ*ONE. IZ*ONE was formed through a survival program Produce 48, where she placed 9th. She officially debuted in IZ*ONE on October 29th, 2018. During this time, she took a hiatus from any AKB48 promotions. Hitomi Honda continued her career in IZ*ONE from 2018-2021. After IZ*ONE's disbandment, she returned to Japan to resume her career in AKB48. As well as launching her own cosmetic brand, NOTONE. Hitomi Honda made her first acting debut in a cameo, in the third episode of Octo Kanjou Sousakan Shinno Akari. Followed by her first lead role in Hokuo Kojirase Nikki. On May 1st she joined AKB48 Team A. Later returning to the acting scene in supporting role of Enami Misato in the show The Greatest Teacher. She graduated from AKB48 January 26th, 2024. Later that year, October 16th she debuted as the leader in South Korean group Say My Name as their leader. On July 28th, 2025 she made her debut in an anime as a character and singer. In the anime Pochars. Honda Hitomi's group, Say My Name, was announced as the singers for the ED theme, ShaLaLa. She also voiced the character Pocha's big sister.
