Utada Hikaru's or "Hikki"songs, the less hip-hop-ish songs are amazing. She has such a beautiful and charming voice. A majority of her songs usually feature so much of her passion and soul within it. Her angelic voice syncs beautifully with the music video full of unused footage from the well known Neon Genesis Evangelion series. There is no story real to this "music video." There is only art, sound, and enjoyment. The lyrics of the song sort of tie in with what the music video is about. a sadden, yet beautiful world. While everything in the world is destroyed, and withers away like flower petals, there is still hope. There is still love to be found. No matter how frightening and torn apart the world may be, you're always going to find love at the end of it. I thought that there was some sort of hidden message. The song is pretty much like the plot of 3.33 except its' more about the "death" and "rebirth" of a world.. at least this was how I interpreted it. It's the perfect theme for 3.33 The animation is beautiful and the video is' a well put together piece of art. Kudo's to the producers for all their hard work. Major love and respect for Utada for her performance.
