She is immensely strong, but claims to be the weakest of her peers, and much weaker than the adults in her clan. She can wield the Kanazuchi with ease, while Shichika cannot lift it at all. She becomes friends with Togame and Shichika when they travel to Ezo in search of Kanazuchi and saves them from dying of frostbite. She is the first person to fight Shichika and win.
